About me

As a dedicated special education teacher with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in working with students who have language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia. My approach centers on providing instruction through the Wilson Reading System®, an evidence-based, structured, and multisensory program designed to develop and strengthen reading and spelling skills. I am committed to providing individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning profile-supporting their growth in reading and spelling while fostering confidence. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student gain the skills they once struggled with and realizing they are capable of so much more.

In addition to working directly with students, I collaborate with parents to identify the most effective interventions to support their child’s learning. I offer guidance on how families can confidently advocate for their child’s educational needs. Since navigating the school system can be overwelming for families, I’m here to ensure parents feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Currently, I work as a dyslexia consultant and private reading tutor based in Westchester County, New York. Outside of my professional work, I love staying active, spending time with my family, and traveling. If you’re looking for support with your child’s learning journey, I’d love to connect and explore how I can help.
